1. Introduction
Hirehoot LTD. is a company registered in England and Wales (company number: 15846134) with its registered address at 12 Kingfisher Place, Reading RG1 8BQ England ("Hirehoot", "we", "our", or "us").
Hirehoot operates the www.hirehoot.net website, which provides information about our products and services and allows users to contact us and sign up/subscribe for information and updates about our products and services and to sign up for, or book a demo of, our products and services (the "Hirehoot Website").
2. Your relationship with us
2.1 This document and any documents referred to within it (collectively, the "Terms of Use") set out the terms of your relationship with us when you access and use the Hirehoot Website. It is important that you read and understand the Terms of Use before using the Hirehoot Website.
2.2 By using and accessing the Hirehoot Website, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these Terms of Use, please do not use the Hirehoot Website.
2.3 If you sign up for our products or services, we will enter into a separate agreement with you which will set out the terms and conditions upon which you may access and use such products or services.
2.4 If you sign up for our products or services as a candidate, you must agree to our Candidate Terms of Use. If you are registering as an employer or company representative, you must agree to our Employer Terms of Use. These documents set out the specific terms and conditions upon which you may access and use our products and services.
2.5 The Website Terms of Use, either the Candidate Terms of Use or Employer Terms of Use (as applicable) collectively form the entire agreement between you and Hirehoot regarding your use of our platform. It is important that you read and understand all of these documents.
3. Information about you
3.1 Your privacy is important to us. Please read our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use and share your information.
4. Your rights to use the Hirehoot Website
4.1 The Hirehoot website is intended for business to business and professional use and is not suitable for use by individuals in their personal capacities.
4.2 The materials and content comprising the Hirehoot Website belong to us or our third-party licensors, and we hereby give you permission to access, view and use these materials and content for the sole purpose of using the Hirehoot Website in accordance with these Terms of Use.
4.3 Your right to use the Hirehoot website is personal to you and you are not allowed to give this right to any other person. Your right to use the Hirehoot website does not stop us from giving other people the right to use the Hirehoot website.
4.4 Unless allowed by these Terms of Use and as permitted by the functionality of the
Hirehoot Website, you agree:
a) not to copy, or attempt to copy any portion of the Hirehoot Website;
b) not to give or sell or otherwise make available any portion of the Hirehoot Website to anybody else;
c) not to change, or attempt to change any portion of the Hirehoot Website in any way; and
d) not to look for or access the code of any portion of the Hirehoot Website that we have not expressly published publicly for general use.
4.5 You agree that all confidential information, copyright and other intellectual property rights in the Hirehoot Website belong to us or the people who have licenced those rights to us.
4.6 Other than as set out in these Terms of Use, we do not give you any other rights in the Hirehoot Website. You agree that you have no rights in or to any portion of the Hirehoot Website other than the right to use it in accordance with these Terms of Use.
5. Your content
5.1 You confirm that any images, text or information that you upload to the Hirehoot Website, including any feedback or comments that you submit to us (collectively, your "User Content") will not breach the Rules of Acceptable Use.
5.2 Our right to use your User Content does not in any way affect your privacy rights. Please see our Privacy Policy which provides information on how we use your personal information.
5.3 When you upload or post content to the Hirehoot Website, you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable licence to use, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works of, and display such user-generated content in connection with our products and services.
5.4 We do not monitor, pre-approve, or assume responsibility for content uploaded to the Hirehoot Website by third parties, including but not limited to prospective employers and candidates ("User Content"). While we strive to maintain a safe and respectful platform, we are not liable for any User Content.
If you encounter any User Content that you believe violates our terms of service, infringes on intellectual property rights, or is otherwise objectionable, please report it to us at [email protected]. We will review all complaints and take appropriate action in accordance with our content moderation policies and applicable laws.
5.5 Hirehoot operates as an AI-powered messaging platform facilitating direct communication between candidates and employers. We do not monitor, review, or take responsibility for the content of private messages exchanged between users on our platform.
Users are solely responsible for the content they share in their communications. While we strive to provide a secure environment, we cannot guarantee the conduct or integrity of users engaging in private conversations.
If you experience harassment, threats, or any behaviour that violates our terms of service within these private communications, please report it to [email protected]. We will investigate such reports and take appropriate action in accordance with our policies and applicable laws.
We reserve the right, but not the obligation, to review reported conversations and take necessary action, including account suspension or termination, in cases of severe violations.
6. Rules of Acceptable Use
6.1 In addition to the other requirements within these Terms of Service, this section 6 describes specific rules that apply to your use of the Hirehoot Website (the "Rules of Acceptable Use").
6.2 When using the Hirehoot Website you must not:
a) aggregate, copy, reproduce, distribute or re-sell any content on the Hirehoot Website;
b) give any false or misleading information, impersonate any person or hide or attempt to hide your identity;
c) act in any way that breaches any applicable local, national or international law or regulation nor advocate, promote or engage in any illegal, fraudulent, harmful, indecent or unlawful conduct (including in your user-generated content), including any criminal activity, abusive, discriminatory, threatening, invasive or offensive behaviour, use of harmful, violent or sexually explicit content or imagery, or any other conduct that, in Hirehoot's opinion, causes or is likely to cause harm, damage or injury to any person or property;
d) introduce viruses, Trojans, worms, logic bombs, invalid data or any other material which could harm the Hirehoot Website or any underlying software or equipment;
e) collect any data from the Hirehoot Website other than in accordance with these Terms of Service (including by any automated or non-automated "scraping" or data mining etc.);
f) violate or attempt to violate the security of our site including attempting to prove, scan or test the vulnerability of a system or network nor attempt to breach security or authentication measures;
g) use any automated system, including without limitation "robots", "spiders" or "offline readers" to access the Hirehoot Website in a manner that sends more request messages to the Hirehoot Website than a human can reasonably produce in the same period of time;
h) upload, download, send, knowingly receive, use or re-use any material which does not comply with the content standards set out in these Terms of Service or otherwise made available by us at any time; or
i) procure the sending of, or transmit, any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising or promotional material or any other form of similar solicitation.
6.3 The Hirehoot Website must not be framed on any other site, nor may you create a link to any part of the Hirehoot Website other than the home page. You may link to the Hirehoot Website home page, provided you do so in a way that is fair and legal and does not damage our reputation or take advantage of it. You must not establish a link in such a way as to suggest any form of association with or approval or endorsement by Hirehoot where none exists. You must not establish a link to our site in any website that is not owned by you.
6.4 Failure to comply with the Rules of Acceptable Use constitutes a serious breach of these Terms of Use, and may result in our taking all or any of the following actions (with or without notice):
a) immediate, temporary or permanent withdrawal of your right to use the Hirehoot Website;
b) legal action against you including proceedings for reimbursement of all costs (including, but not limited to, reasonable administrative and legal costs) resulting from the breach; and/or
c) disclosure of such information to law enforcement authorities as we reasonably feel is necessary.
7. Ending our relationship
7.1 If at any time you do not feel that you can agree to these Terms of Use or any changes made to the Terms of Use or the Hirehoot Website, you must immediately stop using the Hirehoot Website.
7.2 We may immediately end your use of the Hirehoot Website if you break the Rules of Acceptable Use, any other important rule(s), or terms and conditions we set for accessing and using the Hirehoot Website including these Terms of Use.
7.3 We may also withdraw the Hirehoot Website at any time.
7.4 Nothing in this paragraph 7 affects any legal rights you may have under the law of the country in which you are resident.
8. Security
8.1 We care about the integrity and security of your personal information. However, we cannot guarantee that unauthorised third parties will never be able to defeat our security measures or use your personal information for improper purposes. If you choose, or you are provided with, a password or any other piece of information as part of our security procedures, you must treat such information as confidential, and you must not disclose it to any third party. We have the right to disable any user identification code or password, whether chosen by you or allocated by us, at any time, if in our opinion you have failed to comply with any of the provisions of these the Terms. If you know or suspect that anyone other than you knows your user identification code or password, you must promptly notify us at[email protected].
8.2 You are responsible for configuring your information technology, computer programmes, and platform to access our Website. You should use your own virus protection software. You must not misuse the Website by knowingly introducing viruses, Trojans, worms, logic bombs or other material which is malicious or technologically harmful.
8.3 You are also responsible for ensuring that all persons who access our Website through your internet connection are aware of these Terms and other applicable terms and conditions, and that they comply with them. You may link to our home page, provided you do so in a way that is fair and legal and does not damage our reputation or take advantage of it.
9. Links to third-party websites and information
9.1 The Hirehoot Website may contain links to third-party materials that are not owned or controlled by Hirehoot. If you access a third-party website or service from the Hirehoot Website or share your User Content on or through any third-party website or service, you do so at your own risk, and you understand that these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy do not apply to your use of such sites.
10. Our liability/responsibility to you
10.1 Certain features of the Hirehoot Website may rely on networks and connections that are beyond our control. As we do not own or operate such third-party networks, we cannot be responsible for them in any way.
10.2 We shall not be responsible to you for any claims arising out of the provision of the Hirehoot Website. The Hirehoot Website and all content on the Hirehoot Website is provided for informative purposes only and on an "as available" and "as is" basis. This means that:
a) we are unable to promise that your use of the Hirehoot Website will be uninterrupted, secure, without delays, error-free or meet your expectations;
b) we do not promise that any defects or errors will be corrected, or that the Hirehoot Website (or any content available to view or download on the Hirehoot Website) is free of viruses or other harmful components; and
c) information about our products and services that is made available through the Hirehoot Website may change as we continue to develop these products and services.
10.3 In these Terms of Use, we do not give any commitment relating to the performance or availability of the Hirehoot Website, or the suitability or accuracy of the content made available through the Hirehoot Website.
10.4 In every case, we will never be responsible for any loss or damage that is not reasonably foreseeable, or that is caused by a failure by you to comply with these Terms of Use.
10.5 The above does not affect your rights under the applicable law of the country in which you are a resident, including our responsibility to you for any personal injury or death caused by our negligence.
11. Resolving disputes
11.1 If you have a dispute with us relating to the Hirehoot Website, in the first instance please contact us [email protected] and attempt to resolve the dispute with us informally.
11.2 In the unlikely event that we have not been able to resolve a dispute informally, we will discuss and agree with you on the most effective way of resolving our dispute.
12. Changes to the website
12.1 We are constantly updating and improving the Hirehoot Website as our products and services develop. Improvements and updates are also made to reflect changing technologies, tastes, behaviours and the way people use the Internet and the Hirehoot Website.
12.2 In order to do this, we may need to update, reset, stop offering and/or supporting a particular part of the Hirehoot Website, or feature relating to the Hirehoot Website ("changes to the Hirehoot Website"). These changes to the Hirehoot Website, which may occur with or without prior notice, may affect certain features and content available through the Hirehoot Website, including deleting and/or removing such content and features.

13.2 Every time you wish to use the Hirehoot Website, please check these terms to ensure you understand the terms that apply at that time.
13.3 Your continued use of the Hirehoot Website after we make any changes to these Terms of Use will indicate that you have agreed to those changes. If you do not agree to any of the changes to these Terms of Use you should not use or access (or continue to use or access) the Hirehoot Website.
14. Documents that apply to our relationship with you
14.1 The then-current version of the Terms of Use contains the only terms and conditions that apply to our relationship with you at any time.
14.2 We intend to rely on these Terms of Use as setting out the written terms of our agreement with you for the provision of the Hirehoot Website. If part of the Terms of Use cannot be enforced then the remainder of the Terms of Use will still apply to our relationship.
14.3 If you do not comply with these Terms of Use and we do not take action immediately, this does not mean we have given up any right we have and we may still take action in the future.
15. Law
15.1 These Terms of Use, their subject matter and their formation (and any non-contractual disputes or claims) are governed by English law. We both agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
