About the Role

As Head of Growth, you will be responsible for growing Skin + Me’s profit through acquisition and retention channels. In charge of the digital media budget, you will use your analytical skills and commercial acumen to make the right investment decisions. You will work with the rest of the marketing team to ensure our brand shines and customers see the right message at the right time. Comfortable with a fast pace and agile working environment, you will ensure your team stays focused and motivated.

What you'll do:

  • Deliver against Skin + Me’s growth objectives by devising strategies across paid media, influencers, CRM and website experience.
  • Manage the media budget for Skin + Me D2C, constantly optimising our channel mix to ensure we keep scaling revenue and long term profit.
  • Lead, develop and coach a team of three channel experts working across Skin + Me and two other business units.
  • Brief the Influencer and CRM teams on strategy, budget and priorities for your business unit.
  • Work hand-in-hand with the Brand marketing team to devise and execute 360° campaigns that delight our key audience.
  • Deploy hypothesis-based experiments across the marketing funnel (from ads to bidding and website) - through agile working with the design, copy and development teams.
  • Work closely with the management team to define the future growth of the business.
  • Develop and maintain an up to date understanding of the market, customer needs, competitor activity and market opportunity.

  • You’ve already successfully scaled an eCommerce business leading a Growth team and you’re excited about doing it again.
  • You have an eye for great talent and enjoy building and nurturing teams.
  • Highly analytical, you have worked in businesses where experimentation was at the heart of decision making and where measured risks were encouraged.
  • You are able to run analysis and finance modelling independently thanks to advanced Excel skills and/or SQL.
  • Throughout your career, you have acquired hands-on experience of key digital marketing channels and are open to rolling your sleeves up to guide your team in their learning journey.
  • You are a naturally confident communicator with an ability to build lasting relationships internally and externally, rooted in honesty and mutual respect.
  • Always curious, you like to understand the bigger picture of an organisation and have experience working collaboratively with other departments outside of marketing towards shared goals.
  • Mentally agile, you thrive in fast paced environments, where the expectation is to operate with a strong sense of urgency.
  • You are able to make decisions in a context of ambiguity, substantiate your strategy with a clear rationale and engage stakeholders around you.
